Allwyn has announced a slew of changes to its UK leadership team, with the CEO, Robert Chvátal, revealing the names of the new UK team.

As of October 1, 2023, the new CEO of Allwyn will be Andria Vidler, who – prior to her role at Allwyn – worked as the EMEA CEO of Tag Worldwide and the CEO of EMI in the UK and Ireland.

Joining her, Gaby Heppner-Logan will become the new Chief Assurance and Participant Protection Officer; Lucy Buckley will be the Chief Commercial Officer; and Martin Novak will take the role of Chief Data Officer on an interim basis.

Furthermore, Alan Artz is due to become the next CFO,slots Sam Sheriff will be the Chief People Officer, Mark Smith will take the role of Chief Technology Officer and Alastair Ruxton as the Chief Strategy and Corporate Affairs Officer.

Chvátal said of the incoming UK CEO & her team: “This is a talented team with deep experience and a strong personal commitment to delivering the very best for communities across the UK through ever greater returns to Good Causes from The National Lottery. Andria and I look forward to working with them all over the coming years.”

The current Co-CEOs, Neil Brocklehurst and Clare Swindell, will depart after helping the next CEO and her team take place, with Chvátal adding: “I’d like to express my huge thanks to Clare, Neil and all the Camelot leadership team for their sterling work over many years supporting The National Lottery.”

Allwyn will take over the UK National Lottery in February 2024 and has completed the purchase of the current incumbent, Camelot’s, UK operations – a team that will now join Allwyn’s UK lottery team.
